The Imaging Facility currently provides users with five in-house workstations for high-powered, advanced data analysis. At the McMaster facility, there are two Intel Mac Pros equipped with Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors, as well as a Pentium 4 3.2 GHz based PC workstation. At the MaRS facility, there are two Mac Pros equipped with a Dual-Core or Quad-Core Intel Xeon processsor.

In order to meet the needs of a wide array of users, the Imaging Facility offers a variety of software packages for data analysis. The software provided is capable of performing various image measurements (ROI, colocalization, FRET, particle tracking), advanced graphing, deconvolution, 3D rendering, and more. In addition, the facility provides users with the latest documentation, presentation and graphical editing software.
